There is a little bit of magic in the space lingering between words—the kind that carries you beyond yourself and makes you feel, for a moment, that you could fly. I imagined being both guardian and wanderer in the forest, to discover that perhaps I was the one who had found a helping hand: a healer, a saviour, a kindred spirit.
About Catalysts
Catalysts is a collection of original mixed-media works created in response to stories written by Canadian women for the anthology The Fires We Lit. Each piece began as an encounter with another person’s words and became an independent visual reflection on what remained.
