There is courage in remaining open. I wanted to explore the possibility that vulnerability can be a form of strength, and that fear does not have to disappear for us to move forward. We can carry it with us, acknowledge its presence, even listen to it—but never let it take the driver’s seat.
About Catalysts
Catalysts is a collection of original mixed-media works created in response to stories written by Canadian women for the anthology The Fires We Lit. Each piece began as an encounter with another person’s words and became an independent visual reflection on what remained.
